Learn to bake bread in BERKSHIRE. At Birch Cottage Bread. I have a micro bakery based in a shipping container in my garden! I Bake and sell All types of Bread & Teach others To bake real bread. I sell my bread through Pierrepont Cafe, Goring, The Pantry Cafe, Yattendon and local community markets. I teach the following courses Basic Bread Skills, Basic Italian Breads, Rye Breads, Sourdough. I also run Bespoke Bread classes for a min/max of four students email or call me for details. My bakery is listed on the Real Bread Campaign website, has been filmed for the BBC and has featured in Country Living Magazine in 2015 and 2016 and is featured in their Turn Your Hobby Into A Business, Bookazine. In 2017 my bakery was featured in The Sunday Times, business section.

  • Micro Bakery Course (2 Days - first day finishes at 3pm second day at 4pm)

    The Breadangels course is run over two consecutive days, (please note only the first date is listed below, so for example, the May 2017 class will be the 18th and 19th I will welcome you into my micro bakery - a converted shipping container in my cottage garden. My bakery has been featured on the BBC, in Country Living Magazine "Turning Your Hobby Into A Business" and most recently in 2017, The Sunday Times Business Section. On this Bread Angel course - You will learn how you too can turn your love of baking bread into a successful business. We will be baking breads using a wide selection of different flours and ingredients. We will discuss methodology, legal requirements, equipment, marketing and all aspects of admin necessary for you To start your Micro Bakery Project. I will provide you with detailed notes, recipes, lunch and refreshments on both days and of course all your freshly baked breads to take home with you too. We are based less than three miles from Junction 13 of the M4, Berkshire.
