I am an experienced home baker living in rural Hampshire. I work at an artisan bakery. I sell my bread at local bake sales under the name of The Old Dairy Bakery. My courses are taught in a domestic kitchen, in small friendly classes (maximum of four people). Introduction to bread making

Beginners Bread Come and learn how to make bread in a small friendly class. We will make a variety of simple and delicious loaves which may include: spelt bread, white or wholemeal loaves, focaccia , fougasse and enriched loaves. In this 4 hour course you will learn the basics of bread making including: ingredients, kneading, proving and shaping. It is surprising how simple and rewarding bread making can be! We will have a light lunch and refreshments during the day, allowing time to chat. You will go home with a bag of bread you have made and step by step recipes from the day which you can use at home.
