Sara has been baking bread for her family and friends from her urban smallholding, Hen Corner, for many years.
Since training as a Bread Angel in 2015, she has opened a Micro Bakery selling fresh bread to the local community each Friday and looks forward to passing on her skills through a series of courses including the business start up course - 'Become a Bread Angel - Start your own Micro Bakery'

Join us this festive season to make a selection of Christmas Bakes including our Special Stollen, the traditional German sweet bread encasing a rich almond filling, that is folded to represent the infant Christ in his swaddling clothes…
Sara Ward will welcome you to Hen Corner with fresh coffee and homemade treats. After an introduction to our time together you will have opportunity to stroll around the garden visiting the chickens and bees, then off to the conservatory and kitchen to get busy baking…
As seen at the Country Living Christmas Fair
Join us as we welcome in the season to the sound of carols and roll up our sleeves for some Christmas baking. Whilst the aromas of warm baking fills the air, we will enjoy a simple lunch to fuel us for the tasks of the afternoon.
