Laura runs Pig and Pepper, a Bakery and Deli specialising in home baked bread, cakes and patisserie. Prior to living in Buxton, Laura was selling bread locally on a small scale from a flat in Hackney.

Join a class and learn to make a range of breads. All courses are taught in a home kitchen and they are small and hands on. You will leave laden with loaves and the recipes from the class so you can continue baking at home. Classes are held centrally in Buxton

You may amend or cancel your booking at any time up to and including 10 working days from the class start date. Beyond this time we are unable to change or cancel bookings, however we are happy to accept another attendee in your place

Introduction to bread making

Come and join one of our small bread classes where we bake real bread in a home kitchen. In our Introduction to Bread Making class we make a white dough, learning a range of kneading and shaping techniques. We make soda bread, run through a no knead recipe and a rustle up a rye! We even have time for a break for tea/ coffee and home baked treats, and lunch. You take all of your bread home, along with the recipes.
