I'm Brenda Daly, an award-winning baker (Silver and Bronze at the World Bread Awards 2017 and again in 2019).
I run Daly Bread, a small but friendly microbakery from my home kitchen in Isleworth, West London. I bake bread for local customers each week and I also offer bread making classes.

Bread Making Classes
I am passionate about good bread and the process of baking – the feel of the dough, the amazing aromas that waft around the house on a bake day, the satisfaction of seeing a loaf rise and then change colour in the oven, and of course, the texture and taste of the end product.  I welcome the opportunity to share my love of bread with you in a baking class.

Sweet bread class

Love freshly baked, buttery, sweet bread? Join me in my home kitchen where we will use high quality ingredients and traditional methods to make mouthwatering sweet artisan bakes.
I will guide you step by step through the various processes of making different flavoured breads during this one day course.
We will weigh, mix, knead, rest and shape sweet doughs and choose from a selection of different fillings for your bakes.There will be plenty of time for questions throughout the session as we prepare a brioche dough – based on my award-winning cranberry brioche, a babka and two types of sweet buns.  We will discuss ingredients, baking conditions and essential equipment.You will leave with a set of recipes, guidance notes, a warm bag of your handmade sweet baked treats and a big smile on your face. Allergen note: Please note this class focusses exclusively on gluten-based bakes with the inclusion of eggs, milk and butter.
