Rise 'n Shine Bakehouse is based in Bordon Hampshire near Liphook, Petersfield and Farnham.

Since completing a “Bread Angels” course in October 2016 Alex is now pursuing her dream of running her own micro bakery. Alex bakes a range of breads which consists of white, brown & granary loaves/rolls, bagels and many speciality breads such as Sour dough, rye, focaccia, ciabattas and French baguettes. Rise 'n' Shine bakehouse truly believes that bread is “the food of life” and shouldn’t be used just as a side dish or a carrier for a sandwich but as the centre piece of the meal with all other elements as the side dish. Not only does Alex bake for the local community she attends the local Hampshire farmer’s market’s and is just launching into setting up realistic baking classes from her home.

  • Introduction into Bread Making

    ·       Learn how to make & bake real bread in a realistic family run kitchen. My classes will be small and friendly with no more than 4 in attendance. During our time together you will learn how to make a classic white loaf, shape & top bread rolls, soda bread and focaccia using seasonal ingredients to flavour this delicious Italian bread; all the recipes and breads baked on the day are yours to take home and enjoy with your loved ones. Throughout the day I will provide you with refreshments and over lunch we can chat more about our love for bread.

    ·       This would make a great gift for family & friends or just yourself. Bespoke classes can be arranged on a date/time that suits you email me to find out more.

    ·       Change/cancellation policy; if you wanted to change or cancel a full two weeks before your course you can do so with an administrative fee of £10. There are no changes or cancellations within two weeks. We are sorry to be so draconian but I’m a small business and hope you understand.
