  • Basic bread course

    Come and learn how to bake bread in my kitchen in a small friendly class. During our time together, we will have fun baking some white or wholemeal loaves, rolls, fougasse and focaccia to take home. We will sample our fresh bread over a meal and have a chance to chat. The classes will be held close to Mortlake station (25 minutes from Waterloo), parking is easy, just ask for a visitors display when you arrive.   • sourdough class

    Come and learn how to bake sourdough in my kitchen in a small friendly class. During the 6 hours together, you will learn how to make and use a sourdough starter. We will have fun baking some sourdough white, malted or wholemeal loaves, a rye sourdough, sourdough focaccia to take home. We will sample our fresh bread over lunch and have a chance to chat. The classes will be held close to Mortlake station (25 minutes from Waterloo), parking is easy, just ask for a visitors display when you arrive.   • Bagel class

    Do you know your Montreal bagels from your New York bagels or your bublik? You will by the time you have finished making all of them in this class. You will learn basic principles of yeast baking,  hands on kneading, knowing when your dough is ready to shape and bake. We will have time to chat over lunch and you will take home lots of bagels and detailed notes, so you can start making your own at home. My house is 5 minutes walk from Mortlake station (25 min from Waterloo) and parking is free outside.
