Liz Wilson runs Ma Baker, an award winning micro bakery in the heart of Fulham. Liz bakes, sells and delivers real bread to her local community and also teaches a range of bread courses listed as Trip Advisors Number 1 food Class in London. Over 650 five star reviews.

All courses are taught in her Fulham home kitchen and they are small, hands on and lots of fun. Most recently Ma Baker was awarded Best Sole Trader at the British Small Business Awards as well as winning 2 more Great Taste Awards, including the coveted 3 star. If you don't see any dates that work for you, send her an email, as Liz will always try to find a date that does work.

'Liz is not only a wonderful teacher, she is also a warm and friendly host who provides all the guidance necessary to recreate it all in the comfort of your own kitchen. the classes are small, which means you get far more for your money than other available courses. This class is a must for all who want to learn the art of breadmaking and in particular sourdough.   • Introduction to Sourdough

    Sourdough, the bread that has been made for centuries. Just flour, water. salt and time. But what is a starter ? How do you manage it ? How can I fit it in around a busy life ? Why is sourdough better for me ? Lots of questions that will all be answered in this course.

    I will take you through ingredients, processes and shaping techniques. We will make about 6 different breads, have morning tea, a delicious lunch, and you’ll have all the recipes, a pot of my starter and a big bag of delicious bread, that you have made yourself, to take home.
