I have a micro (very micro!) bakery in Highgate and I have been baking sourdough bread and selling it in my local area for about five years now.  My bread won first prize in its category at the World Bread Awards in 2016. Classes take place in my home and are limited to four people, so it is very friendly and informal.

  • Introduction to sourdough

    There is a lot of science-speak attached to sourdough, but I think it's more of an art - and everybody can do it.

    Over the course of six hours we will make white, mixed grain and rye sourdough, focaccia, crackers and flatbreads.  We'll have coffee and lunch and plenty of time to chat about starters, flours and gluten and all that stuff.  You will learn that the sourdough process is fascinating but also simple and a lot of fun.  It's your passport to great bread forever.

    So come and learn to make beautiful artisan bread in your own home - you need never buy another loaf.
