A Leith's trained, World Bread Award winning artisan baker, based in Shepperton Surrey.  Baking weekly bread and cakes for the local community and teaching regular cooking and bread classes.

All courses take place in an informal kitchen setting in my own home, with small classes for plenty of one on one attention.

  • Artisan Bread Course

    Learn how to make traditional artisan bread, with a focus on ingredients and the original process before the industrial manufacturing of bread took over. Preservative and additive free loaves to enjoy at home! This course will cover sourdough techniques, creating your own loaves including farmhouse white tin, multi-seed, and a heritage grain loaf. You'll take home a small amount of starter sourdough to inspire you to continue your baking at home.

    This is a small class, so lots of one to one time. Based in Shepperton, Surrey we run a small microbakery, using the best ingredients to create wholesome bread with no additives or preservatives.

    Demystifying the sourdough myths, this 6 1/2 hour course offers an introduction to baking sourdough bread. Including why it's better for you than traditionally commerically leavened bread, the secrets behind the 'starter' and how to store it. We'll be hands on baking several different loaves, and as the classes are small you'll get lots of one on one attention.
