Rhiannon runs The Epsom Bakehouse, offering fun, hands-on small breadmaking classes. Join a class and learn to bake a range of breads and gain confidence with new skills. Classes are usually held at my house near Tattenham Corner, Epsom, and class sizes are limited to allow maximum individual attention.   • Introduction to bread making

    Have you always wanted to learn how to make delicious bread at home? A hands-on experience, this 4 hour class will guide you through the basics of bread making, from mixing and kneading the dough, proving and finally shaping and baking loaves. You will make a yeasted loaf and rolls, plus a soda bread and can take these home to enjoy at the end of the day. Class sizes are limited to allow maximum individual attention and detailed notes will be provided so that you can continue baking bread at home straight away. A light lunch or snack will be served on the day. Classes will be held at venues in and around Epsom, Surrey. CHANGE / CANCELLATION POLICY: If for any reason you need to change or cancel your class booking, you may do so up to two full weeks prior to your class. No date/course changes or cancellations can be offered within two weeks of a course - we are a small business and hope you understand.   • Sourdough breads

    Join me for a hands-on day where you'll get an introduction to all things sourdough. You'll learn about making, using and storing a starter and how to fit sourdough baking around a busy life. Then we'll fire up the oven and mix, knead and bake a range of sourdough breads. There will be plenty of time to chat and ask questions. You'll leave with detailed notes so that you can get baking at home, as well as plenty of bread baked during the day. Class numbers are limited to allow maximum individual attention.
