How do I know when my sourdough starter is ready to use?
Simply speaking, your sourdough starter is ready to use when it’s frothy and bubbly. Surprisingly, it is not always easy to tell when it’s ready just by looking at it. The fail safe way of telling is to gently dribble a spoon full of refreshed starter into a glass of water. If it floats, it is ready to use. Click here and you can see a little video of this!
